ROCK ON 由1997年開始，以推動本地樂隊為藍本。合共舉辦了11屆的ROCKON讓超過100 隊本地樂隊參與演出，海外表演者更包括日本的MIYAVI, Inoran, due le quartz, Tokyo Yankees等等。來到2019年，Rock On將以日本音樂為主題，與麥花臣場館攜手合作舉辦ROCK ON JAPAN，從日本帶來多個表演單位來港演出，推動日本音樂文化，更成為2019年麥花臣節其中重要的一環！

Since 1997, ROCK ON has provided a professional platform for local bands to demonstrate their talent. More than 100 bands & musicians have participated in the event including overseas performers. Reviving the ROCK ON series in 2019, the theme is Japanese Pop & Rock Music scene. We will invite various bands and different styles of artists to this event.

This will be one of the major event in the 2019 MacPherson Stadium Festival.
